Mujtaba A. Khan

Dr Khan is one of few cardiologists in the area to have multiple board certifications including Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Cardiac Electrophysiology, Nuclear Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Device Specialist. He has extensive training and experience in the management and treatment of cardiovascular diseases including cardiac arrhythmias and device management.

As an electrophysiologist he specializes in the management of heart rhythm disorders. He has extensive experience performing electrophysiology procedures including catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supra ventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardias as well as cardiac implantable electronic devices for various cardiac dysrhythmias and heart failure. After completing medical school at Osmania College in India, he was trained and certified as a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK). He then did his internship and residency at Wright State University, Dayton Ohio before completing a Cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, NewYork. He did his subspecialty training in Cardiac Electrophysiology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine at LIJ, Long Island, New York. He has served as voluntary faculty at Wright State University SOM. His personal interests include, traveling, hiking, swimming and spending time with his family.
